Instead of indulging forms of rebellion, youth culture has transformed into an online consumption. Social behaviours have now become digital performances. The act of consuming forms an integral part of identity across the intersectionality of gender, race, and class. We can now be who we want, when we want, where we want. And this age is giving rise to the most diverse creators, influencers and people who are impossible to put into a box. But if this is true in the age of instant gratification, do we have a true self or are we endlessly performing?”
